We are a Reformed congregation taking root in the lakes country — gathering each Lord's Day around God's Word, prayer, and song. Wherever you are in life, you are welcome here.
Grace Reformed Church is a church plant — a new congregation in its early days, gathering for worship in the heart of the Brainerd lakes area. We don't yet have a pastor or installed elders, but we are a committed body of believers, served by a faithful leadership team, seeking to grow into a healthy, confessional church.
If you are looking for a place to worship God according to His Word — to sing, to pray, to sit under the preaching of Scripture, and to know and be known — we would love to meet you. Come as you are; come and see.
Our worship is simple, reverent, and centered on Christ. Here is what a typical Lord's Day morning looks like.
We gather around a Call to Worship, congregational singing, prayer, the reading of Scripture, and a benediction — worship that is ordered and unhurried.
The sermon is the heart of our service — Scripture opened and applied, so that we hear from God and grow in grace together.
We are a small, friendly group — no need to dress up or know anyone first. Come a little early, and someone will be glad to greet you and answer questions.
We hold to the truths recovered in the Reformation and confessed by the church for centuries — summarized in the five solas.
We affirm the historic creeds of the church and stand in the Reformed confessional tradition. Our congregation subscribes to the Savoy Declaration of Faith (1658) — the confession of the historic Congregational churches, which sets forth the Reformed faith together with a congregational understanding of the church's life and order.
Until the Lord provides a pastor and elders, our congregation is shepherded by a leadership team committed to prayer, the Word, and the care of this young church.
Bob helps shepherd the congregation in worship, prayer, and the study of God's Word, and is glad to welcome anyone exploring the Reformed faith.
A local tradesman and family man, Ben serves on the leadership team and loves seeing a confessional church take root here in the lakes area.
